Price Matching
Some stores will price
match. That means they will allow you to
pay the same amount as a competitor’s current sale for the same item.
When I receive my weekly
flyers I look through for the items I use and find who has what deal.
Walmart, Giant Tiger and No
Frills are excellent stores for price matching as their store policies
encourage this practice.
If you don’t have the time
to look through the flyers – both these experts put out a weekly breakdown for
you of available price matching and coupon comparisons.

Couponing
Same as above but one more
step.
- Show the teller your flyer
with the proper date and product circled
- Hand them the coupon for
said item.
- She/he will adjust the
price and lower it again by the coupon
DOUBLE SAVINGS!!!
For example:
Say your favourite brand of
Yogurt is on for $1.00 at No Frills.
Show your No Frills flyer to the Walmart Cashier and she/he changes the
price from $2.49 down to $1.00. Then you
use a $0.75 off coupon that you have collect and Bingo-bango you’ve bought yogurt for $0.25
cents for a total savings of $2.24!
